Gooseberries are small, round to oval berries of European origin. They grow in the wild all over the temperate climates of Europe, North America, and Siberia. They are a very close relative of currants. Gooseberries have a very unique flavor and are usually very tart. We call this our sweet and sour pie. Served in our flaky pie crust it’s sure to bring back memories of times gone by.
Located in Bentonville, AR, Gooseberry Handmade Pies brings that homemade taste in every bite. Chef Paul & Abbie Frintrup craft each pie by hand using only the best fresh fruit and ingredients.
